Bio

With over 30 years of playing experience, James brings an elite level of expertise, passion, and leadership to the court. A decorated athlete, James is a former KASSA high school champion and league all-star, who went on to earn an OCAA silver medal and league all-star honors at the collegiate level. Internationally, James achieved top honors as a Canada Masters gold medalist at the Pan American Games.

Still competing at a high level, James remains an active player in RYATT’s competitive indoor and beach volleyball leagues.

In addition to a distinguished playing career, James has built a strong coaching resume. Over the past eight seasons, James has been part of the Senior Boys Volleyball team at Holy Cross Secondary School, developing young athletes and fostering a culture of competitiveness and growth. At the collegiate level, James served as a coach for the Loyalist College OCAA Women’s Volleyball team for three seasons, culminating in a bronze medal finish in 2024.
